In light of the feedback received, I decided to alter the entranceway in order to make it more in check with the theme and overall meeting type. The advice was to make it relate to earth, so instead of adding trees, which was one of the suggestions, I turned it into a rock structure, with angles and planes that echo the crystal below. This makes it more of an eye-catcher as well as bringing the whole design together.
