The focus of this Term is Atea - 'Meeting'
We have been tasked to create a space that reflects some aspect of Atea - a place that facilitates meeting or represents the meeting of more abstract concepts. Firstly, we split off into groups in which to discuss meeting and its many types and circumstances.
Later, I narrowed it down to a number that I was particularly interested in and could pursue. My passion is the creation of alternate realms and illustration (concept art) so the meeting of reality and fantasy, or two universes, seemed like a no-brainer to me. Regardless of what I end up doing, I am wanting to create a space installation that is atmospheric and creates 'magic', inspiring imagination and speculation.
